I am married to Ruth. We have six children, Joshua, married to Nicole; Rebekah, Jacob, Elizabeth, Emily, and Sarah.

Ruth and I have served as Licensed Foster Parents since 1983 in Ohio and Virginia providing a home for over 50 children.

My hobbies and interests are golf (for which I have little time), reading, playing with my children, and I can solve the Rubik’s cube.

I received a Master of Arts Degree in Practical Theology from Cincinnati Christian Seminary in 1984. I received a master of Science Degree in Family and Child Development from Virginia Tech in 1989.
